Sepang: City Hotels and Accommodation
The city centre is approximately 55 km / 34 miles north of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). Most of the accommodation here is reasonably priced and offers modern facilities, with many high-rise hotels overlooking the cityscape and the famous Petronas Twin Towers, the city's tallest buildings, measuring around 1,483 feet / 452 metres.
Many of Kuala Lumpur's most noteworthy quality hotels lie in the Golden Triangle district and include a number of well-known brands, such as Sheraton and Marriott. The Golden Triangle is an important area of commerce and hotels here are particularly popular with business travellers, whilst catering well for those with tourism on their agenda. Shopping centres are plentiful in this part of Kuala Lumpur, together with numerous restaurants specialising in local cuisine.
